HDR Acquires Schiff Associates

HDR|Schiff is a
full-service corrosion engineering and consulting firm
established in 1959. Our professionals
possess a wide range of experience in the assessment,
specification, design, and testing of corrosion control
facilities.
HDR|Schiff assists owners and architect/engineers in
designing, constructing, and operating structures with low
maintenance costs and long trouble-free lives by providing
corrosion engineering services, coatings-related services,
and laboratory and metallurgical testing.

Clients include
geotechnical firms, architect and engineering firms,
government agencies, utilities (including electric, oil and
gas, water and wastewater) and private property owners. Our
services are provided both in the United States and abroad.
Schiff Associates is headquartered in Claremont, CA with
offices in San Diego, Las Vegas, and Houston.
HDR|Schiff expanded its range of services by
obtaining a Class A-General Engineering Contractor License
through the California Contractors’ State License Board in
2004, adding 2,000 square feet of laboratory space at
corporate headquarters in 2007, and becoming an active
member of ISNetworld and OP/Qual per US Department of
Transportation in 2008. These changes broaden our scope of
corrosion engineering services and allow us to install
corrosion control equipment in special circumstances.
